CM Revanth Reddy Visits Flood-Affected Areas, Assures Full Government Support

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Thursday visited the flood-affected areas of Kamareddy district, describing the recent floods as the worst in a century.
The CM assured people that the government would stand firmly by them in this time of crisis. He praised local MLA Madan Mohan Rao for standing by the residents and preventing further loss of lives and property.
“A true leader is one who stands by the people during times of distress. Your MLA has supported you and ensured that major damage was avoided,” the CM said.
Highlighting the impact of the floods, he noted that both minor and major irrigation projects had been damaged, but Pochampad project withstood the floods and protected the region. He said temporary repairs were already undertaken.
The CM personally inspected the damage and hardships faced by people, directing officials to prepare permanent restoration plans.
Key assurances from the CM included:
Special funds to remove sand deposits from agricultural lands.
Compensation for crop losses.
Estimates to be prepared for repairing roads and irrigation projects.
Full responsibility of the government to resolve all problems caused by floods.
He directed officials to conduct on-ground assessments to measure the extent of damage and provide immediate relief.
