Hyderabad 2 January (Patriotic Views) BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha has raised her voice in favor of farmers, sharply criticizing the Congress government. She accused Chief Minister Revanth Reddy of attempting to deceive farmers by imposing conditions on the Rythu Bharosa scheme. Kavitha questioned the rationale behind imposing conditions on farmers, asking if the government wanted to restrict their freedom to cultivate.

She condemned the imposition of stringent conditions on farmers through the Rythu Bharosa scheme, asserting that funds should be provided to farmers unconditionally. She emphasized that the government should provide support to farmers without attaching additional conditions.

Kavitha also criticized the Congress government for not taking sufficient action for the welfare of farmers, stating that CM Revanth Reddy has failed to fulfill his electoral promises. She pointed out that the necessary steps to implement the promises made to farmers had not been carried out.

She further stated that public discontent with the Congress government was increasing due to its inefficiency, and this would likely impact the upcoming local elections. Emphasizing the continuity of public welfare projects under the BRS party, Kavitha encouraged party workers to unite and address public issues while strengthening the party’s stance.

Former MLA of Bodhan, Ayesha Fatima, former MLA of Nizamabad Urban, Ganesh Gupta, and other party workers were also present at the meeting.
