Hyderabad 13 January (Patriotic Views) The alumni of Madrasa Islamia Arabia Siraj-ul-Uloom, Hashmat Peth, Secunderabad, Telangana, organized a grand Service Recognition Ceremony on Sunday, January 12, 2025, from 10 AM till Zuhr in the madrasa mosque. The program began with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Qari Sufiyan Qasmi, followed by a heartfelt naat rendered by Maulana Athar Hasami and Hafiz Ghani Zakariya Munir Sahab.

Maulana Asad Qasmi, delivering the welcome address, highlighted the contributions of the madrasa’s founders, particularly the first administrator, Hazrat Maulana Abdul Qayyum Sahab Mazahiri (RA), paying rich tributes to his legacy. A special poem dedicated to teachers was recited by Mufti Muhammad Alam Qasmi.

Several esteemed teachers, including Maulana Qutubuddin Sahab Qasmi, Mufti Waliullah Sahab Qasmi, Maulana Asjad Sahab Qasmi, Maulana Hidayatullah Sahab Qasmi, and Hafiz Absar Sahab, shared their valuable thoughts and expressed deep appreciation for this unique initiative.

The chief guest of the event, Mufassir-e-Quran Hazrat Maulana Ghiyas Ahmed Rashadi Sahab (DB), elaborated on the concept of honoring individuals as emphasized in the Quran and Hadith. He congratulated the alumni for organizing such a meaningful event. The madrasa administrators, Maulana Sabir Sahab Qasmi and Maulana Khalid Al-Qasmi Sahab, also addressed the gathering briefly, extending gratitude to all alumni, especially the reception committee members.

Hafiz Marghoob Alam Sahab, the current administrator of the madrasa, announced the celebration of the Golden Jubilee (50 years) of the institution in the upcoming year.

In a remarkable gesture, three senior teachers with 25 years of service were selected for Umrah tickets through a draw. The tickets were sponsored by:

1. The Reception Committee.
2. Maulana Abdul Qadir Qasmi, owner of Nice Juice Center.
3. All the alumni collectively.

Former students of the madrasa also shared their sentiments during the program. Maulana Masroor Ahmed Rashadi skillfully conducted the proceedings, while Maulana Obaidullah Khan Qasmi concluded the event with a vote of thanks.
