Advisor to Telangana Government Mohammed Ali Shabbir Meets Hon’ble Governor Jishnu Dev Varma

Hyderabad: Mohammed Ali Shabbir, Advisor to the Telangana Government (SC, ST, OBC & Minorities), paid a courtesy visit to Hon’ble Governor Jishnu Dev Varma at Raj Bhavan. During the meeting, Mohammed Ali Shabbir highlighted significant initiatives undertaken for the welfare of minorities and other disadvantaged communities in the state.
He briefed the Hon’ble Governor on the successful implementation of the 4% Muslim reservation in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. He noted that this policy has positively impacted over 20 lakh poor, socially, and economically backward Muslims in the Telugu states since its inception in 2004-05.
Additionally, he discussed other welfare schemes being implemented by the state government for minority communities. Mohammed Ali Shabbir informed the Hon’ble Governor about the launch of 28 integrated residential schools by Hon’ble Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, which are designed to provide quality education to thousands of students from SC, ST, BC, and minority communities.
The meeting emphasized the state government’s commitment to inclusive growth and its efforts to uplift marginalized sections of society through targeted schemes and policies.
