Ranga Reddy, September 1: Ranga Reddy District Additional Collector (Local Bodies) Dr. K. Kiranmayi has called for special focus on improving educational standards in government schools and pre-primary centres to ensure quality learning for every child.

During her visit to government schools and pre-primary centres in Chowdarygudem Gram Panchayat on Tuesday, the Additional Collector reviewed classroom teaching, student attendance, learning outcomes and the availability of basic infrastructure.

Interacting directly with students, she assessed their academic progress and learning abilities. She also held discussions with teachers to review the measures being taken to enhance educational standards.

Dr. Kiranmayi instructed teachers to continuously monitor the learning levels of every student and adopt teaching methods suited to individual learning capacities. She directed them to pay special attention to slow learners and ensure that all students receive quality education.

Later, she inspected pre-primary centres and reviewed teaching practices, play-based learning activities and sanitation. She emphasised the need to provide a safe, child-friendly and stimulating learning environment with age-appropriate educational activities to ensure quality early childhood education.

Participates in Indra Nagar Gram Sabha

The Additional Collector later attended the Gram Sabha held at Indra Nagar Gram Panchayat, where she reviewed village development programmes, public grievances, implementation of various government welfare schemes and infrastructure development works.

She directed officials to examine the grievances and requests raised by villagers thoroughly and resolve them promptly in accordance with government rules. She also instructed all departments to work in coordination and implement development programmes transparently within the stipulated timelines.

Officials from various departments, Gram Panchayat staff, headmasters, teachers and other concerned personnel participated in the visit.
