136 Grievances Received at Prajavani Programme in Warangal

Warangal: A total of 136 public grievances were received during the weekly Prajavani programme held at the District Collectorate Conference Hall on Monday.

The programme was conducted under the directions of District Collector Dr. Satya Sharada, IAS, with Additional Collector (Local Bodies) Y.V. Ganesh receiving petitions from members of the public.

According to officials, 42 applications were related to the Revenue Department, 26 to the Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation (GWMC), 21 to the Housing Department, 16 to the District Rural Development Office (DRDO), while the remaining 31 applications pertained to various other departments.

Addressing officials, Additional Collector Y.V. Ganesh said the majority of grievances received were related to the Revenue, Housing, GWMC and Rural Development departments. He directed the concerned officials to examine the petitions promptly after they are endorsed to the respective departments and ensure their early resolution.

He also noted that the Prajavani programme commenced at 10 a.m. to facilitate public convenience and encourage greater participation.

Among those present were Additional Collector (Local Bodies) Y.V. Ganesh, District Medical and Health Officer Dr. Raja Reddy, DRDO Naga Padmaja, district-level officers from various departments, and a large number of citizens who submitted their grievances.
