Nizamabad, August 19, 2026: Nizamabad Police Commissioner P. Sai Chaitanya, IPS, conducted a comprehensive review of the Crime and Criminal Records Bureau (CCRB) section at the Nizamabad Police Commissionerate office on Wednesday.

During the review, the Commissioner examined various aspects of the CCRB’s functioning, including case registration, crime statistics, investigation progress, pending cases, court cases, case details received from police stations and maintenance of records.

Reviewing case details station-wise, Commissioner Sai Chaitanya directed officials to regularly monitor pending cases and take necessary steps for their speedy disposal. He instructed the staff to ensure that all case-related records and crime statistics are entered accurately without any errors.

The Commissioner also stressed the need to prepare comprehensive crime statistics and use the data to identify trends and take effective measures for crime prevention and control. He called for better coordination between the CCRB section and individual police stations and directed officials to keep case-related information updated regularly.

He further instructed CCRB personnel to provide information regarding investigations and case progress to senior officers on time and discharge their duties responsibly to improve the overall efficiency of the police department.

Additional DCP (Administration) N. Shubham Prakash, CCRB ACP B. Guru Naidu, CI R. Anjaiah, Panderao, SI J. Varaprasad Reddy and other staff members were present during the review meeting.
