DCP Traffic-III, Hyderabad Conducts Annual Inspection of Chandrayangutta Traffic Zone

During the comprehensive inspection, the DCP reviewed operational readiness and issued strict directives to the ACP and Station House Officers (SHOs) of the Chandrayangutta Zone to ensure seamless traffic management and public safety:

Strict Enforcement: Intensify enforcement operations with special focus on Day Drunk & Drive (DD) checks and the ROPE (Removal of Obstructive Parking and Encroachments) initiative.

Encroachments & Parking: Take stern action against unauthorized encroachments on footpaths/roads and remove illegal parking to ensure smooth movement of vehicles and pedestrians.

Monsoon Preparedness: Coordinate proactively to prevent waterlogging and manage traffic congestion during monsoon spells.

Night Safety & Discipline: Strengthen the Night Road Safety Squads for enhanced security during late hours, while strictly maintaining staff discipline and professional conduct.

The inspection was attended by Sri T. Ram Das Teja, Addl. DCP Traffic-III; Sri V. Chandra Kumar, ACP Traffic Chandrayangutta Zone; and SHOs of Malakpet, Saidabad, Santoshnagar, and Chandrayangutta Traffic Police Stations.
