🏠 Indiramma Housing: Telangana Govt Unites Industries for a Noble Mission

Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu has called upon cement and steel industries to join hands in the construction of 4.50 lakh Indiramma houses, describing the programme as a historic and humanitarian mission of the people’s government.

Speaking at a special meeting on Tuesday at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Secretariat, along with Industries Minister Sridhar Babu, he urged industries to extend support by supplying cement and steel at affordable prices without compromising quality. “Just as Telangana has stood by industries, it is now time for industries to stand with Telangana’s people,” he emphasized.

The government has allocated ₹22,500 crore for this massive project, aiming to provide dignified homes to the poor with uncompromised quality. Minister Sridhar Babu added that all companies—big or small—must supply at uniform prices, stressing that this welfare scheme marks a new chapter after 10 years of wait.

Officials stated that 50 lakh metric tonnes of cement and 27.75 lakh metric tonnes of steel will be required. Industry representatives expressed pride in being part of this patriotic endeavour and assured full cooperation in making the scheme a grand success.
