₹1.46 Crore Development Works Launched in Buranpally, Vikarabad Mandal – Telangana Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar Participates

Vikarabad, Aug. 22 (Patriotic Views)
Telangana Legislative Assembly Speaker and Vikarabad MLA, Shri Gaddam Prasad Kumar, participated as the chief guest in a series of development programs worth ₹1.46 crores at Buranpally village under Vikarabad mandal, as part of the “Panula Jathara” initiative.

On this occasion, he:

Laid the foundation stone for the new Gram Panchayat building at a cost of ₹20 lakhs.

Inaugurated a new BT road from PWD Road to Buranpally at a cost of ₹63 lakhs.

Inaugurated another new BT road from Buranpally to Dhannaram at a cost of ₹63 lakhs.

Local public representatives, leaders, officials, and villagers attended the program in large numbers.

Addressing the gathering, Speaker Prasad Kumar said that the present Telangana government is truly a “people’s government.” He criticized the previous BRS government for neglecting development in the Vikarabad constituency for the past ten years, particularly the poor condition of roads. He noted that only the roads laid during his tenure as a minister before 2014 were still in use.

He stated that after the new government assumed office, road repairs and new road works worth ₹600 crores under Panchayat Raj and R&B departments have been taken up. He also pointed out that the previous government left Telangana heavily indebted with ₹6 lakh crores, forcing the state to repay ₹6,500 crores every month.

He remarked that during the previous regime, only the KCR family and local BRS leaders benefited, while ordinary people saw no progress. Despite financial challenges, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is efficiently managing administration and allocating funds for development and welfare schemes. Women are being provided free bus travel, 200 units of free electricity, and LPG cylinders at just ₹500.

He assured that once the state’s finances improve, the government will implement the promised monthly assistance of ₹2,500 and one tola gold for women. He also promised land distribution for the landless poor, sanction of Indiramma houses, ration cards to all eligible applicants, and resolution of drinking water problems in the village within a week by digging a new borewell.

Speaker Prasad Kumar further announced that he has “adopted Buranpally village” and will ensure its all-round development
