Rythu Nestham’ 88th Episode Conducted Successfully Minister Tummala Guides Farmers on Natural Farming, Nano Urea Usage Farmers Participate Through 1,600 Rythu Vedikas Across the State

The 88th episode of Rythu Nestham, aimed at encouraging farmers towards modern technologies and natural farming practices, was conducted successfully across the state. Farmers and agriculture officials participated in large numbers through video conferencing facilities at around 1,600 Rythu Vedikas.
State Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao attended the program as the Chief Guest. Agriculture Secretary K. Surendramohan, IAS, was also present and provided guidance to farmers and officials on natural farming and the usage of nano urea.
During the session, several farmers shared their experiences. Sandeep from Yadadri district spoke about natural farming and self-marketing methods. Mahendra Reddy from Khammam district explained the benefits of using nano urea in paddy cultivation. Naveen, a former serviceman from Nizamabad district, shared his experiences in natural farming, inspiring fellow farmers. Baburao from Mahabubnagar district also shared insights from his natural farming practices.
Farmers from Gudur (Jagtial district) and Nelakondapalli (Khammam district) raised queries, which were addressed in detail by agricultural scientists, offering practical suggestions and solutions.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao appreciated Sandeep for adopting natural farming and Mahendra Reddy for his effective use of nano urea. He directed officials to create widespread awareness at the village level regarding natural farming and nano urea usage.
The Minister highlighted the adverse effects of excessive use of urea and informed that farmers can determine the required quantity of urea based on cultivated area through the government’s urea app. He encouraged farmers to reduce the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides and shift towards nano urea, nano DAP, and natural farming practices.
He also stressed the importance of providing farmers with modern technical knowledge through allied agricultural departments. As part of the 99-day Praja Palana program, he called upon farmers to actively participate in the upcoming Rythu Utsavams scheduled from May 4 to 9 and make them a success.
