“Health is the greatest wealth… Welfare of police personnel is our priority: District SP Smt. Sneha Mehra, IPS inaugurates Mega Health Camp at Kodangal.”

Vikarabad District Superintendent of Police, Smt. Sneha Mehra, IPS, stated that the health of every employee working in the police department is extremely valuable not only to the department but also to their families. With the noble intention of providing the best possible medical services to police personnel serving not only at the district headquarters but also at all police stations, a Mega Free Health Camp was organized today under the aegis of the District Police Administration and the District Police Association for police officers, Home Guards of Pargi and Tandur Sub-Divisions. The camp was held at *Raghavendra Function Hall, located within the limits of *Kodangal Police Station, and was inaugurated by the District SP as the chief guest.

As a continuation of the health camp conducted at the District Police Office yesterday, the second day of the camp was organized for police personnel, officers, Home Guards, and their family members from all police stations under the Pargi and Tandur Sub-Divisions. Renowned corporate hospitals such as *Yashoda, **Max Vision, **Sri Sai Dental, along with government medical specialists, were brought directly to Kodangal. Comprehensive medical services including *general check-ups, ENT, cardiology, orthopedics, gynecology, eye, and dental examinations were conducted using advanced medical equipment.

The District SP visited the camp and interacted with the personnel undergoing medical examinations. Addressing the gathering, she said, “The life of a police officer is filled with constant challenges and time constraints. In this process, many tend to neglect their health. Even minor health issues, if ignored, can turn into major problems in the future. Hence, such health camps should be utilized effectively. Only when everyone—from constables working at the field level to senior officers—is physically and mentally strong, can we provide better services to the public.” She further emphasized that the police department will always remain at the forefront when it comes to the welfare of its personnel.

During the camp, diagnostic tests such as ECG, 2D Echo, Random Blood Sugar (RBS), Blood Pressure (BP), and BMI were conducted. Free medicines were distributed to those in need, and referral facilities were provided through specialist doctors for further treatment wherever required.

The program was attended by Additional SP B. Ramulu Naik, Deputy DMHO Ravinder Reddy, Pargi DSP Srinivas, Tandur DSP Yadaiah, Pargi CI Srinivas Reddy, Kodangal CI Sridhar Reddy, Tandur Inspector Santosh Kumar, Karan Kot Inspector Praveen Reddy, Kodangal Government Hospital Superintendent Chandrapriya, District Police Association President Ashok, SI’s of Pargi and Kodangal divisions, police personnel, Home Guards, and their family members.

The District SP specially felicitated the doctors and medical teams who rendered their services, including Dr. Venkatesh, Dr. Sanjay Vivek, Drug Inspector Kranthi Kumar, Druggist & Chemist In-charge Srinivas, and their teams. Police personnel expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the District SP for taking special care of the health of their families as well.
