Hyderabad, 19th December 2024 (Patriotic Views) : Advocates and members of the Legal Cell – TPCC staged a vehement protest at Gate No. 4 of the Telangana High Court, condemning Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s controversial remarks on Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. The protest, spearheaded by Ponnam Ashok Goud Garu, Chairman of the Legal Cell – TPCC, called for accountability and an immediate retraction of the statements deemed disrespectful to the architect of the Indian Constitution.

The demonstration witnessed the active participation of key advocates and leaders, including Momin Roshan Zameer Sahab, E. Deva Garu, Kamalakar Garu, Prabhakar Garu, Raparthi Venkatesh Goud Garu, Venu Gopal Goud Garu, Mahendar Prajapati Garu, and B. Bikshapathi Goud Garu. Other prominent participants were Kishan Raj Chauhan Garu, G. Rajendar Garu, Rajkumar Garu, Aijaz Sahab, Inayatullah Sahab, Hafeez Rana Sahab, Satyanarayana Garu, Dasasri Srinivas Garu, and several women advocates, including Prameela Garu, Sharada Katakam Garu, Padmavathi Garu, Sudha Rani Garu, Manjula Garu, and Sheeba Rani Garu.

Speaking at the protest, Ponnam Ashok Goud emphasized Dr. Ambedkar’s unparalleled contribution to India and demanded respect for his legacy. “Any attempt to undermine the values Dr. Ambedkar stood for will face strong opposition,” he declared.

The protest highlighted growing discontent among various legal and social groups regarding remarks that question the principles of equality and justice upheld by Dr. Ambedkar.
