TGMFC Chairman Launches Indiramma Mahila Shakti – Sewing Machines Scheme for Minority Women

Hyderabad, 16th December 2024(Patriotic Views): In a significant step towards empowering minority women, Janab Mohd Obedulla Kothwal Sahab, the Hon’ble Chairman of the Telangana State Minorities Finance Corporation (TGMFC), officially launched the Indiramma Mahila Shakti – Sewing Machines Scheme today. The event witnessed the presence of Smt. A. Kanthi Wesley, IAS, Vice-Chairperson & Managing Director of TGMFC, along with other senior officials of the Corporation.

During the launch, Chairman Kothwal urged minority women to take full advantage of this opportunity to enhance their skills and achieve financial independence. He emphasized the importance of women’s participation in skill development programs, which he described as a crucial step towards self-reliance and empowerment.

Chairman Kothwal announced that interested applicants can register for the scheme through the official portal tgobmms.cgg.gov.in. He encouraged all eligible women to submit their applications before the deadline of 31st December 2024.

The Indiramma Mahila Shakti scheme aims to provide sewing machines to minority women, enabling them to establish small-scale businesses and secure a stable livelihood. This initiative is expected to make a significant contribution to the socio-economic development of minority communities across Telangana.

The launch of this scheme highlights the TGMFC’s commitment to supporting skill development and creating opportunities for financial empowerment among minority women in the state.
