Telangana Government to Honor Poets for Role in State Formation

Prominent poets such as Guda Anjaiah, Gaddar, Bandi Yadagiri, Andesri, Goreti Venkanna, Suddala Ashok Teja, Jayaraju, Pasham Yadagiri, and Ekka Yadagiri Rao have been acknowledged for their deep-rooted involvement in the Telangana movement.

Special Honors and Rewards

To commemorate their contributions, the state government will provide each recognized poet with a 300-square-yard house plot. In addition, a generous cash reward of Rs. 1 crore will be given, along with a letter of felicitation.
