Minister Jupally Krishna Rao Conducts Field Visits to Address Public Issues in Kollapur

Kollapur: Telangana Minister for Tourism, Culture and Excise Jupally Krishna Rao has been conducting extensive field visits across the Kollapur constituency for the past three days, focusing on resolving public grievances and reviewing development and welfare programmes.

On the third day of his tour, the Minister met residents directly, listened to their concerns and directed officials to take immediate steps to resolve pending issues. He stressed that officials must remain accountable and warned that negligence or delays in addressing public grievances would not be tolerated.

Focus on Sports Infrastructure

Jupally Krishna Rao said special attention was being given to developing sports infrastructure in the Kollapur constituency to encourage students and youth to participate in sports and promote rural talent.

As part of the initiative, the Minister inspected the proposed site for a stadium at Pentlavelli on Saturday. He said plans were also underway to construct stadiums in Kollapur town, Veepanagandla, Kethapally village in Panagal mandal, Kodair and Peddakothapally mandals.

The Minister directed officials to speed up the process and take the necessary steps to complete the proposals at the earliest.

Minister Expresses Anger Over Delays in Revenue Issues

Later, at the Pentlavelli mandal headquarters, the Minister reviewed public grievances with officials. Several farmers raised revenue-related issues, particularly delays in property mutations, stating that they had been visiting government offices for years without their problems being resolved.

Jupally expressed displeasure over the officials’ approach and questioned why people should be made to visit government offices repeatedly for years to get their legitimate issues resolved.

He instructed officials to prepare a special action plan to clear pending revenue cases within a fixed timeframe. He stressed that officials must work with accountability and warned that negligence and delays in resolving public grievances would not be tolerated.

“People’s Blessings Are My Strength”

Speaking on the occasion, Jupally Krishna Rao said he had been in politics for more than 25 years and claimed that he had never indulged in corruption, encroached upon even an inch of land or taken money for any work.

He said he remained committed to resolving people’s problems and credited the continued support and blessings of the public for his long political journey.

The Minister said he would work with greater responsibility to uphold the trust placed in him by the people. He added that the primary purpose of his field visits was to remain accessible to the public, understand their problems directly and take steps to resolve them at the ground level.
