Siddipet: Four members of a family were killed after their car lost control and fell into a 22-feet-deep roadside well at Appannapally village on the outskirts of Dubbak mandal in Siddipet district on Wednesday night.

The deceased were identified as D Raju (35), his wife Bhagya (22), and their two children, Niyansh (5) and Shanvika (3), all residents of Balvanthpur village. The family was returning home from Siddipet after attending a relative’s 10th-day ceremony.

Police launched a search after the accident and located the vehicle inside the well around midnight. Rescue teams retrieved the car in the early hours of Thursday, but all four occupants were found dead, reportedly due to drowning.

Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the accident.
