HYDERABAD:29-07-2026 A coordination meeting was conducted today under the supervision of Sri Tafseer Iqbal, IPS, Additional Commissioner of Police, Law & Order, South Range, and Sri Kiran Khare, IPS, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Charminar Zone, in connection with the upcoming Bonalu festivities and Ghatam Procession.

The meeting was attended by Sri K. Satyanarayana, GHMC Charminar Zonal Commissioner, officials from all concerned Government Departments, representatives of the Ummadi Devalaya Committee, temple committee members, and other stakeholders associated with the festival.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held regarding law and order, traffic regulation, security arrangements, crowd management, sanitation, fire safety, medical facilities, uninterrupted power supply, drinking water, and other civic amenities to ensure the smooth and peaceful conduct of the festivities.

The police officers emphasized the importance of close coordination among all departments and appealed to the organizers, temple committees, and devotees to extend their full cooperation in maintaining peace, harmony, and public safety during the celebrations. Sri S. Srinivas Reddy, GHMC Charminar Zonal Commissioner, assured full support from the GHMC in ensuring sanitation, civic infrastructure, and other municipal services throughout the festival period. All participating departments also assured their full support and committed to making the festival a grand success through coordinated efforts.
