Advanced Technology Centre to Empower Youth with Skills and Employment Opportunities: Uttam Kumar Reddy

Huzurnagar: State Minister for Food, Civil Supplies and Major Irrigation, Nalamada Uttam Kumar Reddy, stated that the government is taking concrete steps to create employment opportunities for unemployed youth through the establishment of Advanced Technology Centres.
During his visit to the Advanced Technology Centre at Ramaswamy Gutta in Huzurnagar, the Minister interacted with students undergoing training and reviewed the facilities. He informed that the centre has been established with an investment of ₹46 crore, including ₹40 crore for construction, with support from Tata Advanced Systems and the Government of Telangana.
The Minister said that 172 students are currently receiving training in advanced courses aimed at enhancing industry-relevant skills. He emphasized that the initiative is designed to help educated unemployed youth secure jobs and become self-reliant.
Announcing further support, he stated that from the next financial year, each student will be provided a monthly scholarship of ₹2,000. He also assured that essential infrastructure facilities such as an RO plant, toilets, and other amenities will be completed within the next 2–3 months.
Additionally, he revealed that an ITI building is being constructed at a cost of ₹14 crore to provide basic training, while the Advanced Technology Centre will focus on specialized and advanced skill development.
Later, the Minister inspected the ongoing ITI construction works and directed officials and contractors to maintain quality standards and expedite completion.
District Collector Tejas Nand Lal Pawar, SP K. Narasimha, Principal Sriramulu, and other officials were present during the visit.
