Integrated “Bhu Bharati” to be Implemented in One Mandal per District After 45 Days Review Early Resolution of Sadabainama Issues: Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy

Hyderabad: Telangana Revenue, Housing, and Information & Public Relations Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy announced that the Integrated “Bhu Bharati” portal, designed to bring land, survey, and registration departments under a single platform, will be implemented in one mandal per district after a 45-day review and necessary modifications.

The Minister formally launched the portal during a Gram Sabha held at Mithayipally village in Amangal mandal of Rangareddy district on Thursday.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that under the leadership of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, the state government is introducing revolutionary reforms in the revenue department. He stated that the portal is currently being implemented on a pilot basis in Amangal (Rangareddy), Kusumanchi (Khammam), Aswaraopeta (Bhadradri Kothagudem), Vatpally (Sangareddy), and Kosgi (Narayanpet) mandals.

The Minister said that citizens will no longer need to visit government offices or depend on officials, as all services will be accessible through smartphones by logging into the Bhu Bharati portal.

He alleged that due to the Dharani system introduced by the previous government, around 9.52 lakh Sadabainama applications remained unresolved. The present government, he said, is focused on resolving these issues by granting ownership (patta) to those cultivating and possessing the land, with their consent. A Government Order has already been issued to facilitate this process. He also stated that the benefit will be extended to areas that were previously villages but are now part of municipalities.

He further announced that each land parcel will be assigned a unique “Bhudhar” number, similar to an Aadhaar number. The state’s 10,984 revenue villages have been grouped into clusters, and GPOs have been appointed. Around 5,300 personnel have been trained in two phases over six months, and 4–6 licensed surveyors have been assigned to each mandal. Modern technology is being used for surveys with 411 rovers already deployed, and another 400 to be added soon.

Strong Criticism ofh Opposition
The Minister criticized the opposition, stating that while the government is working for the welfare of the poor, certain leaders who were involved in irregularities in the past are behaving irresponsibly in the Assembly. He remarked that despite repeated electoral defeats, they have not learned any lessons.

The Minister also announced that foundation stones for Sub-Registrar5 and Tahsildar office buildings in the constituency will be laid soon.
