Honorable Minister Azharuddin Promotes Harmony at Mahavir Jayanti Celebrations in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Stating that people of all religions, castes, and communities in the state live together in harmony, Minority Welfare Minister Mohammed Azharuddin emphasized the importance of unity and peaceful coexistence.
The Minister participated in the Mahavir Jayanti celebrations held at Exhibition Grounds, Nampally, Hyderabad. On the occasion, he paid floral tributes to the portrait of Lord Mahavir and extended his greetings to the Jain community.
Addressing the gathering, Minister Azharuddin said that Mahavir Jayanti marks the birth anniversary of Lord Mahavir and is celebrated as a sacred occasion of vows and spiritual reflection. He highlighted that Lord Mahavir’s life is a great example of truth, non-violence, and righteous living.
He stated that Lord Mahavir taught that true strength lies in self-discipline, kindness, and forgiveness, and that these values are essential for building a peaceful and compassionate society. He appreciated the Jain community for not only following these principles but also contributing to the welfare of society.
The Minister expressed his gratitude to the Jain Seva Sangh, describing it as a respected and longstanding organization established in 1960, which has been continuously serving society with a strong spirit of selfless service. He said the organization reflects the true principles of “Live and Let Live” and extends support to those in need.
He also conveyed his special thanks to Chairman Yogeshji Singhi, President Urlash J. Bagrecha, Vimal Ji Mutha, PRO Praveen Ji Pandiya, and all members of the board and committee for organizing the event successfully.
Concluding his speech, Minister Azharuddin said he felt honored to be part of such a meaningful and prestigious occasion and thanked the organizers for giving him the opportunity to address the gathering.
