KCR Extends Support to Family of Senior BRS Leader
Hyderabad: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) President and former Chief Minister of Telangana, K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), extended financial support to the family of late senior BRS leader and Telangana movement activist, Kusuma Jagadeesh, former Zilla Parishad Chairman of Mulugu district.
Kusuma Jagadeesh, who had been actively associated with the party since its inception, passed away two years ago after a prolonged illness. Upon learning through party leaders that Jagadeesh’s daughter, Sukirthi, was aspiring to pursue medical studies, KCR came forward to assist the family.
On Friday, at his Erravelli residence, KCR handed over a cheque to Sukirthi to cover the required medical education fees. He encouraged her to study well and assured that the BRS party would continue to stand by the family in every way.
Former MLC Karne Prabhakar and former MLA Rasamayi Balakishan were also present on the occasion.
