Hyderabad – On 11th September 2025 (Patriotic Views), Minister Ponnam Prabhakar inaugurated several important development projects in Husnabad Assembly Constituency.

The Minister laid the foundation stone for the construction of a PR Road from Banjirapalli to Pandilla via Gollapalli, costing approximately ₹2.47 crores. In addition, a PR Road from Potlapalli to Parivedi, estimated at ₹2.07 crores, was also inaugurated.

For environmental development, a project worth ₹2 crores for the improvement of the village lake (Palle Cheruvu) in Husnabad town was started.

Moreover, with a budget of ₹3 crores, the foundation was laid for the development and beautification of Central Median Avenue Plantation along with Welcome Arches from Sri Chaitanya School to the Petrol Pump in Husnabad Municipality.

During the event, the Minister also inaugurated a heritage Nizam-era Albion bus from 1930 at the Husnabad Bus Stand premises, in collaboration with RTC MD Sajjanar and RTC employees, as part of a junction development initiative.

Minister Ponnam Prabhakar emphasized that Husnabad is being developed as a hub of tourism, education, industry, agriculture, and employment opportunities. He mentioned that a Central Lighting Plantation and Junction Development project worth ₹3 crores have been launched to improve infrastructure in Husnabad.

Additionally, a ₹2 crore project for the development of the village lake (Palle Cheruvu) was inaugurated to promote water conservation and local ecology.

Husnabad is strategically located between four districts – Karimnagar, Siddipet, Hanumakonda, and Jangaon – and a plan is underway to establish a Satavahana University Engineering College to boost educational infrastructure in the region.

The Minister further highlighted other development initiatives, including the Gowravelli Project, Industrial Park, Mahasamudram Gandi Tourism Project, Ellamma Temple built by Sardar Sarvai Papanna, and Potlapalli Shiva Temple, aimed at holistic development of the region.

District Collector Haimavathi, Additional Collector Garima Agarwal, Siddipet Library Organization Chairman Lingamurthy, Market Committee Chairman Tirupati Reddy, and other officials and prominent leaders were present during the event.
