Patriotic Views – Hyderabad, August 30, 2025 The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) staged a novel protest on Saturday highlighting the severe fertilizer crisis faced by farmers across Telangana. Party leaders and workers gathered at the Amaraveerula Stupam in Gun Park, carrying empty urea bags as a mark of protest.

Raising slogans against the Congress government, the protesters blamed it for the acute shortage of urea during the crucial festive season. Slogans such as “Ganapati Bappa Morya – Farmers Demand Urea!” and “Congress Government Must Resign for Failing Farmers” echoed at the site.

The BRS leaders accused the Congress of betraying farmers and demanded immediate supply of fertilizers. They asserted that the present crisis had forced farmers to stand in long queues even during festival time, which reflects the government’s insensitivity.

The protesters also held placards saying “Revanth’s Betrayal, Farmers’ Loss” and demanded that the Chief Minister take responsibility and ensure urgent relief to farmers.
