Harish Rao Slams CM Revanth Reddy Over Flood Mismanagement

Former Minister Harish Rao, after visiting the flood-affected areas of Medak, came down heavily on Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and the Congress government for their “utter failure” in handling the flood crisis.

Comparing Revanth Reddy’s approach to “playing the fiddle while Rome burns,” Harish Rao alleged that while half of Telangana is reeling under heavy rains and floods, the CM is busy holding review meetings on Musi river beautification one day and on sports the next, sitting in his Jubilee Hills palace.

He strongly criticized the government for not deploying helicopters in time, pointing out that two lives could have been saved in Burugupalli if timely action was taken.

“Helicopters are used for weddings, but when people’s lives are at stake, the government fails to use them,” he remarked, questioning the government’s priorities.

Harish Rao demanded immediate and serious intervention by the state government to rescue and protect people in flood-affected areas.
