State Government Prioritizing Public Welfare, Says Minister Addluri Laxman Kumar

The State Government is giving top priority to public welfare, with a special focus on improving facilities in educational institutions for minorities, tribals, and Dalits, stated Minister for SC, ST, Minority Welfare, Disabled, Senior Citizens and Transgender Welfare, Mr. Addluri Laxman Kumar.

During his visit to Hanamkonda, the Minister held review meetings with Hanamkonda District Collector Ms. Snehah Shabarish, Warangal District Collector Dr. Satya Sharda, and senior officials of various departments. The review focused on the functioning of residential and government gurukul schools across the districts.

Both Collectors presented reports on basic amenities, quality of teaching, and student facilities. Minister Laxman Kumar emphasized that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is keenly focused on strengthening gurukul and residential institutions, allocating substantial funds for their development.

He directed officials to immediately address shortcomings in hostel facilities, quality of food provided to students, and teaching standards. He also instructed regular inspection of complaint boxes installed in schools to ensure timely redressal of grievances raised by students.

The meeting was attended by Warangal West MLA Naini Rajender Reddy, Wardhannapet MLA K. R. Naga Raju, Hanamkonda Additional Collector Venkata Reddy, RDO Rathod Ramesh, and district-level education officers.
