Key Congress Meeting on Jubilee Hills By-Election Preparations

Hyderabad (Correspondent) – As part of the preparations for the Jubilee Hills by-election, AICC In-charge Secretary Viswanathan Perumal held a crucial meeting with constituency in-charge ministers Ponnam Prabhakar, Vivek Venkat Swamy, and Tummala Nageswara Rao. The meeting was also attended by corporation chairmen, party vice presidents, observers, and other senior leaders.

Minister Ponnam Prabhakar emphasized that the Congress flag must fly high in the Jubilee Hills by-election. He urged party leaders and workers to take government schemes to the people, including new ration cards, subsidized rice, 200 units of free electricity, interest-free loans, and free bus travel for women in RTC buses.

He further stated that major development works like roads and drainage projects are in progress in Jubilee Hills. So far, 6,000 new ration cards have been issued and over 20,000 new names have been enrolled. He instructed that each booth should have a designated in-charge who must sincerely carry out their responsibilities.

Highlighting the importance of continued governance, he said that if the ruling party is given another chance, Jubilee Hills will witness even more development. He stressed that there should be no issues with sanitation, drinking water, street lights, and drainage roads in the constituency.

The minister also directed that in all seven divisions of Jubilee Hills, vice presidents and corporation chairmen must work actively. Party offices should be established at the division level, and pending issues related to ration cards, Indiramma housing, and other welfare schemes must be resolved booth-wise
