Narayanpet, Aug 21 (ABDUL RAHEEM):
The Lions Club of Narayanpet celebrated the birthday of former United Andhra Pradesh Youth Congress Vice President Chittem Venkateshwar Reddy by conducting a wide range of service activities at CVR Bhavan and various institutions across the town.

As part of the celebrations, bicycles were presented to underprivileged students, blankets were distributed to municipal workers at the Children’s Hospital, and notebooks were provided to students of the Government Junior College. Community meals (Annadanam) were served to the public. Health initiatives included a free diabetes camp for children at Sai Hospital, a free eye check-up camp by Venkateshwara Eye Hospital, and a blood donation camp organized by the Red Cross Society.

The programs were formally inaugurated by Narayanpet MLA Dr. Chittem Parnika Reddy, who commended the Lions Club for its consistent commitment to social service. “The Lions Club serves society with the spirit of a soldier. Their work is truly commendable,” she said, extending appreciation to Club President Saritha Hari Narayan Battad and her team.
